Tobacco control movement is a term denoting the organizations which supports stern regulation of tobacco products due to their addictive potential and health risks. The tobacco control movement is also termed as the “anti-smoking” movement. The anti-smoking organizations are consistently struggling to eradicate the practice of smoking, worldwide.

Tobacco control movement compels government to take appropriate action to control tobacco use as well as tobacco users to quit.Across the globe, the popularity of smoking is increasing and becoming a trend of the 21st century. There is an urgent need of some organizations to cope up with the problem of smoking, thanks to the anti-smoking organizations. Tobacco control movement is a group addressing the harmful effects of tobacco smoke to the public. It also strives to make this world free of smoke.
